1) Anyone interested in adopting a waiting child, including sibling
groups, should check out WACAP- www.wacap.org . If you are interested
in adopting a child over 7 or a sibling group with one child being 7
or older from Russia or Kazakhstan, the adoption costs are almost
entirely covered by the agency.

This agency offers many subsidies,no interst loans and reduced
adoption fees for waiting children. They also have a big US adoption
program featuring older children and sibling groups. Again, the fees
for the adoptive family are very minimal. With the federal adoption
tax credit, many of these adoptions are completed with no out of
pocket expenses to the adoptive family.

2)For those of you wanting a relatively fast adoption- Russia and
Kazakhstan are great options. By using the right placing agency
families are getting matched and traveling within 6 months.

3) For those of you willing to adopt toddler age or older children
from Ethiopia, referrals are happening almost immediately from CIS
approval.

4) For those of you interested in a waiting child from Taiwan- check
out www.celebratechildren.org to see currently available children. We
have extensive information on each child. The cost for these
adoptions is typically under $15,000.

5) If you are open to a boy or willing to adopt a child of either
gender, and qualify for the program, Korea is still a wonderful
option. The entire process is typically 9-10 months and the children
can be escorted to Detroit, Michigan.

6) Domestic adoption of Hispanic infants can occur in about 12
months, using the right US agency, and the cost is about the same as
an international adoption.

So please spread the word that there are still hundreds of thousands
of orphaned children who need loving homes both in the US and abroad.
With China's time frames being so long and Guatemala undergoing a
time of transition, the rumor is that adoption isn't a good option
for families. In fact, loving adoptive homes are needed more than
ever so please encourage anyone interested in learning more to
contact us!
